Dupa cum v-am informat in articolul precedent, anul acesta vacanta a fost vacanta.

English version:

As I told you in the previous article, this year my holiday was a true holiday, time off taken to spent with the loved ones. Don’t imagine that I haven’t cooked anything,  please do not,  because it is not the case.  On the Eve’s eve on December 23 I spent 8 hours in the kitchen among bags of flour, eggs, spices and fruits, trays and baking forms, and only late at night I turned off the oven from operating it’s magic.

I did my course and magnificent cozonaci, filled with rum flavor, with many more nuts, raisins and cocoa. I fed myself with the smell and I enjoyed the look of their round shapes, baked, roasted in the oven heat. More photos you can see on Facebook.
I loved cooking my muffins in flavors of berries, spinach and carrots but I tried different fun shapes with Christmas theme.

To greet Santa, I told myself not to confuse him with the same biscuits made with cinnamon, and I created a replica buns. Which I hope you like too, because he loved it. Then I said it would be nice not to let his replica wait for him all alone and I left Santa’s reindeer  a little surprise, to amuse them looking at other animals, as others probably laughed at them because some say that they are loved simply because they are  Santa’s help, and so I did some pigs faces, also because here in Romania, at Christmas time the pig’s tradition is unique and hopefully immortal.
I’ll will tell you in the next articles what else I “worked out” in the kitchen, the stuffed turkey for the Christmas dinner, the rolls with citrus and a surprise dessert, a tradition from Moldavia, then region in the east of Romania, not the stand alone country, that I first tasted at my mother in-law home.
